On June 15, 2005, the Media Bureau released a Public Notice containing a list of 802 mutually exclusive AM Auction No. 84 window-filed Form 301 tech box applications. In that Public Notice the Commission defined three categories of mutually exclusive auction applications, detailed the filings required for each mutually exclusive application category, and specified a September 16, 2005, deadline for submitting the required filings to the Commission. This filing deadline was extended to October 31, 2005, because of Hurricane Katrina. Additionally, the Commission stated in that Public Notice that the staff would dismiss, without further processing, the mutually exclusive, window-filed FCC Form 301 tech box application of any applicant included in the June 15, 2005, Public Notice for which the required filing was not submitted by the filing deadline. AUCTION OF FULL POWER TELEVISION CONSTRUCTION PERMITS; 25 BIDDERS QUALIFIED TO PARTICIPATE IN AUCTION NO. 64.

In this Public Notice, the Media Bureau (“MB”) and the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (“WTB”) (collectively the “Bureaus”) identify 25 applicants found to be qualified to bid in the upcoming auction for 11 full power television station construction permits (“Auction No. 64”). Bidding in Auction No. 64 is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 15, 2006.In addition, this Public Notice contains bidding instructions and other important information regarding Auction No. 64.
