By this Public Notice, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (“WTB”) and the Media Bureau (“MB”) (collectively referred to as the “Bureaus”) announce the auction of certain FM broadcast construction permits (Auction No. 68).This auction is scheduled to commence on January 10, 2007.

CONSTRUCTION PERMITS TO BE OFFERED IN AUCTION NO. 68

As discussed in greater detail herein, the Bureaus propose that Auction No. 68 be composed of nine construction permits in the FM broadcast service as listed in Attachment A.The construction permits to be auctioned are nine unsold FM construction permits from Auctions No. 37 and No. 62, which closed on November 23, 2004, and January 31, 2006, respectively.
