The FCC has indefinitely postponed the nationwide, first-come, first-served digital LPTV and translator window.

For the reasons detailed in the attached FCC Public Notice, the FCC Media Bureau has announced the postponement of the July 26,2010 date for nationwide DLPTV and digital translator filing window.  The FCC stated this change is necessary in light of the release of the National Broadband Plan, which announced an effort to identify 500 megahertz of spectrum that can be reallocated from existing uses to enable the expansion of new mobile broadband service.

Please see the attached Public Notice for more information.
