FCC Adopts a R&O amending rules for TV and Class A TV Stations to remove rules for analog TV operations.

IN THE MATTER OF AMENDMENT OF PART 73 OF THE COMMISSION’S RULES TO UPDATE TELEVISION AND CLASS A TELEVISION BROADCAST STATION RULES, AND RULES APPLICABLE TO ALL BROADCAST STATIONS . The Commission adopts a Report & Order amending Part 73 of its rules for television and Class A television broadcast stations to remove obsolete rules for analog TV operations. (Dkt No 22-227). FCC MEDIA BUREAU REMINDS BROADCASTERS OF UPCOMING WINDOW FOR FILING BIENNIAL OWNERSHIP REPORTS


Filing Window Opens on October 2, 2023 – The FCC’s Media Bureau reminds commercial and noncommercial broadcasters of their upcoming obligation to file 2023 biennial ownership reports on FCC Form 323 or 323-E, respectively. The broadcast ownership report filing window will open on October 2, 2023, and all reports must be submitted by December 1, 2023.
